2005 Yalumba Shiraz/Viognier Barossa $12-ish Bottle King ***
That black cherry-sliding-into-plum thing; definitely fruity, but not offensively so, a bit of white pepper. Velvety mouthfeel is probably why I responded to it. Haven’t enjoyed Oz Shiraz lately but this was nice. And a change of pace from our Hispanic stable.
