La Posta 2006 Cocina Blend 60% Malbec 20% Bonarda 20% Syrah $13 at BK ***
Very enjoyable; shoulders of a Malbec, added backbone from the Bonarda and just enough lively fruit from the Syrah. Again classy, very well balanced. What you'd expect from the blend; and actually unique profile. A little chewy, dark fruit, tannins, but the fruit & white pepper that gets you from the first taste. Actually had a remarkable nose I recall. With Chimichurri Burgers; good combo that.
