Que Sirah, Sirah

Rosenblum 2006 Petite Sirah Heritage Clones **** Bottle King $15
Parker went nuts on this so I have an '05 in the cave, not to be opened until '13, as instructed. Couldn't resist trying this '06 though. We (esp. M) are up on the Bogle Petite Sirah, so I was curious to try something that tried even harder, which is what this guy does. Very concentrated; blueberry, but tightly wound, not like Malbec. Some Cigar smoke, real structure; dignified. Definitely feels like it will open up over time. Just plain classy. With Chimichurri Tuna Steaks, following Batali's advice to just f'in blast it. The difference between home cooks and restaurant chefs is the heat.
